The Osiris Earrings

$380.00
Sold

These one-of-a-kind malachite earrings were handcrafted in the USA of fine and sterling silver with 18k yellow gold accents and gold vermeil earwires. The stones measure 15 x 27 mm. The earrings hang approximately 1.8” below the earlobe.

Malachite is found all over the world, including the U.S., Brazil, Australia, Mexico, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Malachite has played an important role in the adornment of royalty since antiquity, both as jewelry and as crushed pigment for eyeshadow. Because of it’s relative softness, malachite is most often made into earrings where it is safe from occasional scratches and dings. Malachite has long been believed to protect one from evil and has come to symbolize transformation, abundance, and spiritual wisdom.
